Energy Efficient SIPs used for Skipton Community Sports Hub

SIPS@Clays was commission to deliver a pioneering project to provide an energy efficient sports hub for the community of Skipton, that would be cost effective and energy efficient to build and run.

Working on behalf of Rural Solution for Skipton Cricket Club and Skipton Juniors FC, the team at SIPS@Clays SIPs designed, fabricated and installed the 3,500sqft facility, which now complete, has created an exemplar in its field.

Together with Rural Solutions, the SIPS@Clays design team quickly worked out a way to deliver the architectural design and best achieve the hub’s intentions.

SIPS@Clays was an ideal partner for this type of construction approach. The design team identified areas which needed slight design adjustments to fit with the construction approach and there was close communication and co-ordination leading up to the installation of the panels on site.

The clients at the Community Sports Hub were surprised and delighted by how quickly the shape and envelope of the building came to life.
