Shortlisted for Custom & Self Build Project of the Year and Low Energy Project of the Year, our SIPs self build home called Westfield in Haltwhistle, Northumberland is an exemplar of SIPs design and construction and has been recognised as a compelling example of what can be achieved when building with structural timber.
In its 10th year, the awards will celebrate outstanding projects and inspiring individuals at a ceremony at the National Conference Centre, Birmingham on 2nd October.
Ian Clay, founding partner, SIPS@Clays said: “Over the past few years, SIPs construction has become increasingly popular with some outstanding projects being built across the country.
“We are delighted to have been shortlisted but we are in no doubt, that we are up against very stiff competition. That said, Westfield is a great self build project that demonstrates the superior energy efficiency, flexibility of design and ease of construction that SIPs provides.
